Our pre-school offers education and care for children between the ages of 2½ and 5. Children under the age of 2½ will be accepted at the discretion of the playgroup leader.  

Our pre-school is registered with the local Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership and contributes to the Partnership’s overall planning to provide education and care throughout the Foundation Stage.

The playgroup has a very good relationship with St Michael's Primary School. During your child’s time at playgroup they will visit the reception classroom and its outside play area. We have transition procedures in place for those children who will be moving up to school, which includes, the reception teacher visiting the playgroup and vice versa.
